KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Today was the day hundreds of high school students waited for graduation day.
Seniors and their families packed the Toyota Center for the event. Kennewick High, Kamiakin ... and Southridge held separate graduations at the center this afternoon.
Excitement overwhelmed many of the young men and women about to graduate. Finally, but I got held back, so I feel kind of old," said senior David Bower. His friend Kristopher Carter was also excited,"14 years of education, preschool and kindergarten. I don't know how to explain it."
Some seniors like Hailey Knight were just happy to be finished, "well, I'm just ready to move on with life and it just means I accomplished something."
Most of the grads all said they plan on continuing their education at colleges and vocational schools after graduating.
