The Tri-Cities Fever held off a late rally by Wenatchee Valley to win 58-52. Cornerback Dennis Rogan had the game clinching interception with just 11 seconds left in the game.
The win was anything but impressive for the Fever who improved to 9-4 on the season. In the fourth quarter, the Venom went on a 30-7 run. Not quite the showing Tri-Cities hoped for on the road against the Pacific Division's cellar dweller.
Fever quarterback Houston Lillard got back on track this week, completing 25 of 37, while throwing for 270 yards and 7 touchdowns. Leading the way receiving was Justin Jarvis, who finished with a team high 2 touchdowns, on 93 receiving yards and 7 receptions.
