KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Fever will try to keep a good thing going when they take on the Seattle Timberwolves Sunday night in Kent.
In the team's first 2 match-ups, the Fever have outscored the Timberwolves by 48 points combined. But, this time the game is on the west side, away from the comfortable confines of the Toyota Center.
At stake is a home game for the Fever in the 1st round of the playoffs. Seattle is looking to play spoiler. First and foremost, the Fever are looking to stop Timberwolves Quarterback Charles McCullum.
"He's the motor of their team," said defensive back Dwain Crawford. "He makes those guys go and as he goes the team goes so it's just a matter of us going out there and stopping him."
"We're a good football team," said Fever Head Coach Adam Shackleford. "We're a playoff team which means we're going to get everybody's best effort. We're going to get Seattle's best effort this weekend. We know that, we understand that, and this is a playoff game for us because if we win here there are a lot of good things that can happen to us."
