KENNEWICK, WA- The Three Rivers Convention Center Friday welcomed one of the fastest growing imports to the Tri-Cities—senior citizens.
Thousands of seniors and baby boomers approaching retirement attended the third annual Senior Life Show.
Heather Breymeyer, one of the organizers, says the show's growing popularity is proof the Tri-Cities is becoming a retirement area. "Californians and other states are moving up here for the economical retirement living here," She says. "The weather, wine, and golf makes a perfect area to retire."
If you missed the show, but want more information on senior services available in the Tri-Cities, look for the magazine Senior Pages or drop by any senior center.
