KENNEWICK, Wash. -- For nearly two weeks now, calls to the Kennewick Housing Authority's main line have been dropped.
They tell us the problem comes from their service providers, Integra and Frontier but that's all they know.
KNDU called Integra Wednesday, they didn't say when the problem will be fixed but said they're working on it.
While a solution is being sought, the agency says their ability to help tenants has become harder.
"Our staff is unable to get their voice mail. Just not getting in contact or just being able to answer those phones that people are calling in from the tenants or the general public or even the service provider," explains Karlene Navarre of the Kennewick Housing Authority.
While service remains interrupted, the agency has two different numbers you can call while service is down. Those numbers are 509-582-8060 or 509-582-7930. In addition to calling those numbers, tenants can also go to the housing authority's office.
