YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Yakima Police Department got a new computer from the Westside Walmart in Yakima on Tuesday. YPD's computer forensics expert can now investigate virtual crimes; everything from forgery to internet based crimes. The old computer crashed about a month ago. Walmart says they are happy to make the donation and it's important for them to help the community any way they can.


YAKIMA, Wash. -- This Friday is the 'Sunshine and Wine Festival' in Yakima. The 10th annual event raises money for historic buildings at that site, and YVCC scholarships. It will be at State Fair Park in Yakima from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $35 at the door. A complimentary wine or beer glass and four drink tickets are included.


TOPPENISH, Wash. -- Police in Toppenish are looking for an armed robber. Officers say around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, a man wearing all dark clothing and a bandana over his face walked into the Valley View Market on East Toppeinsh Avenue, showed a gun and demanded money. Police say the man ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured in the holdup.
