YAKIMA, Wash.--Campers at Pandamania Vacation Bible School in Yakima donated supplies to the Yakima Fire Department Today.
Water, Gatorade, and snacks were given to help make sure firefighters stay hydrated during the fire season. Camp officials say this is the 12th year of the drive and that around 12 shopping carts of supplies were collected.
"It's such a great gift for them. They are thoroughly blessed by this gift and they tell us they don't know what they would do without it," said Susie Woodin, the camp's children's director.
Some firefighters were on hand to accept the gift and they say the donation will help keep them safe while fighting wildfires.
