KENNEWICK, Wash. -- People took advantage of Sunday's warm weather and headed to the fifth annual Mariachi Festival in Kennewick.
The event took place at Columbia Park. It's organized by the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
People who attended the event listened to bands from throughout the Northwest, but they say the day held an even greater meaning, "we like the music and we like being around our culture and the food and stuff," explains Kayla Zuniga, who attended the event with her family.
People also had access to healthcare and wellness organizations at the event.
