Rock blasting prepared for I 90 beginning Monday

SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. -- Beginning Monday night, Washington State Department of Transportation crews will close both lanes of I- 90 from Gold Creek to Price Creek Snow Park.

Crews will be rock blasting. They're working to widen a stretch of the highway from four to six lanes. The work is part of a $551 million dollar project designed to improve safety. The work will run from Monday until Wednesday from 8 until nine at night.
