KENNEWICK, Wash.—The annual River of Fire Festival in Columbia Park is one way many locals celebrate the 4th of July, but this year people will have more than just fireworks to look at.

A World Trade Center 911 artifact will be on display for the first time in the Northwest.  The steal beams weigh 6,000 pounds and are 36feet long.

"There will be a memorial plaque on it and it will be in memory of the 29,977 people that perished during 9-11, and also the people that went in there and saved all the lives," says Paul Parish, Kennewick City Councilman.

The beams will be in Columbia Park for the 4th of July, only then they'll permanently be placed at a memorial in the Southridge area.

The River of Fire Festival costs $7 per car.
