PASCO, WA-More than 200 people got up early on Independence Day to take part in the Camp Patriot Fun Run in Pasco.
All proceeds benefit Camp Patriot help rehabilitate men and women of the military disabled in the line of duty.
"We create a par dine shift in their lives and show them they have the abilities to press on and not look at their disabilities," says Micah Clark, founder of Camp Patriot. "What Camp Patriot does is it really helps the rehabilitation through outdoor recreational therapy."
Organizers say the run is meant to give back to the men and women who have served in the military.
