PASCO, WA- A Tri-Cities chiropractor wants to get you into the Christmas spirit.
Dr. Wayne Smith and his staff at HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab are holding a "Christmas in July" food drive.
All the food the office collects this month will help Second Harvest stock local food banks and shelters.
About 300 HealthSource offices nationwide are taking part in the food drive. The company chief executive officer says many people tend to forget about people in need outside of the holidays.
As an incentive to give a cash or non-perishable food donation, doctors are offering a free screening.
"We will do a thorough exam, X-rays if necessary," says Dr. Smith. "Then we have them come back and do a report of findings where we give them a written plan on what we can do for them."
You can drop off your donations at the Pasco office at 1211 North 20th, just down the street from the Albertson's on Court Street.
