RICHLAND, Wash.—You have until 10pm Saturday night to enjoy live music and local artists.
The first Tri-Cities Art Expo kicked off at noon Saturday at the Richland Community Center. About 15 local visual artists and 6 local bands and musicians are at the event. Many families say they were enjoying the festivities, but one local man says he was there to support his friend.
"I think this one just kind of fell into his lap. He was playing on the street and an older gentleman came up to him and started talking to him about music and another couple of months down the line he's playing a show for him," Brian Williams, friend is in band.
The event lasts until 10pm Saturday and is free to the public.
