RICHLAND, Wash.- The Paul Liddell Park in Richland is complete and people are ready to celebrate.
A new playground, landscaping, and basketball themed artwork were added to what some described as just a dirt lot.
Neighbors donated time and money to help get the project done.
There will be a brief ceremony at noon on Saturday followed by music from the Kennewick Boys and Girls Club, a dunk tank, and all sorts of other activities.
"We are ecstatic. I'm so happy people get to come out and see all the people doing hard for them and also just enjoy the view," says Karina Thorne Project Champion.
Once again the celebration will be going on at noon on Saturday at the Paul Liddell Park. That's on the 700 block of Cottonwood Loop in Richland.
