Bears Holding onto Confidence After Win

Posted: Updated:

Yakima, WA---

Consistency.  It's what the Bears have been lacking all season long.  A reason why they've won back to back games once all year.  The opportunity to do so presents itself again tonight, after beating Salem-Keizer at home yesterday.

A win that provided much needed confidence and positive energy to the club house.  Guys arriving an hour earlier to the ball park today, to get extra work in, to try to feed off last nights win.

Bears Manager Audo Vincente said, "Today is a new day, you know but we tell our guys... you know use that win from last night to just you know get it going a little bit.  Last night's win, and you know... You can see you know feel better."

Bears infielder Jimmy Comerota added, "It's really easy to get caught up on streaks and the stories in the papers.  We're not oblivious to all of it.  But its just important to keep doing what we're doing... To trust ourselves and know we're here for a reason."
