RICHLAND, Wash.--A Guinness World Record attempt for the biggest pillow fight was made Saturday afternoon. Police were on hand to make sure everyone played safe.
Several hundred people showed up at the Howard Amon Park in Richland to join in for one of the world's biggest pillow fights. The pillow fight was organized on Facebook where more than 15,000 people said they were going to attend.
Event organizer Justin Meyer from Richland says "I'm really excited about this. There's a lot of people showing up and I just can't wait until it's all over to count how many people were here."
In order to break the record more than 3,706 need to show up.
Meyers says if they do not break the record he plans to try it again next year.
