YAKIMA, Wash. -- Oil Can Henry's is going pink. The company is raising money and awareness for breast cancer. The company is having their employees wear pink hats for the next week. Pink bow ties are available as well.
They are donating a portion of their sales to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. "Breast cancer has impacted the lives of Oil Can Henry's family and many of our customers also," said local owner Tom Elwood.
The franchise started the idea last year at their Portland locations. Elwood and the rest of the Oil Can Henry family are joining in this year. Along with donating three dollars of every full-service oil change, they are also accepting any outside donations.
