KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Hundreds of people helped wrap up the Mid-Columbia "True Colors" Pride Week with a parade.
It's the fifth year supporters in the Tri-Cities came out for the event.
Many say it's helpful to have local people who join in because sometimes they feel discriminated against.
Parade organizer Mark Lee says LGBT "ban together, support each other, know it's something you're going to have you're whole life. It's not something that you did."
The pride week kicked off July 10th with a film festival.
