Fever's Offense Struggles in United Bowl Loss

Posted: Updated:

Sioux Falls, SD--- The Tri-Cities Fever fell in the United Bowl 37-10 to Sioux Falls Saturday night. The offense never found its groove on the road. The only touchdown coming in the second quarter, on a 32 yard pitch and catch from Houston Lillard to Jackie Chambers that tied the game at 10.

From there the storm put the game on lock down.  Allowing just 117 yards of total offense, and holding Tri-Cities to its fewest point total all season long.

Head coach Adam Shackleford said, "It's something I've never dealt with as an offensive coordinator. I've been doing this 12 years and never been hold less than 27. So a lot of it was mistakes on our part, but Sioux Falls did a great job taking advantage of it. When you only score 10 points you're not going to beat Chris Dixon and his football team... And coach Riggs did an outstanding job this year."
