Kittitas woman with Alzheimer's is missing

ELLENSBURG, Wash.-- A nationwide search is underway for a 73-year-old woman. The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office has listed Heide Rogers as an endangered missing person.

Rogers, who recently moved from Cloud County, Kansas, suffers from Alzheimer's Disease. She was last seen at home around 5:45 this morning.

The sheriff's office believes she may be trying to drive back to her previous home in Kansas. She left in a white Ford Focus with a Kansas license plate 095-CQC.

Rogers is just over five feet tall with gray hair and was last seen wearing a blue blouse and khaki shorts.
