PASCO, Wash.—Summer is the busiest time of the year for moving companies. A local storage business says about 5% more people are renting and storing their belongings longer.
The manager says people are waiting either for their homes to be built or for apartments to open up. They're seeing a pretty even flow of families come to the area and move away and jobs are typically the reason why.
‘Some of them change of jobs, some of them are looking for work, some of them are being transferred," says Barbara Beck, Security Mini Storage Manager.
