KID considers condo and townhouse assessments

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA- Some condominium and townhouse owners may see their irrigation rates go up, but rates may go down for others.

The Kennewick Irrigation District holds a public hearing Monday evening to talk about re-structuring the current rate policy for condos and townhouses.

KID says the aim is to make it so condo and townhouse complexes pay their fare share, based on how much water they use.

To read about the proposed changes, we've posted on our website a link to the KID website.

The meeting  starts at 6 p.m. Monday PUD auditorium on Tenth Avenue in Kennewick.
