Kennewick American Advances to World Series

Kennewick, WA--- Kennewick American Little League won the Pacific Northwest Regional title by defeating Willamette Valley 6-4. KA came back from a 4-0 deficit in the third with two outs to eventually claim the little league's sixth 12-year-old regional title.  KA advances to the Cal Ripken World Series in Maryland.

    KA Shortstop Blake Loftus said, "I knew it. Cause last night we came back {from a} 6-1 {deficit}... I knew we were KA and we were coming back."

    Winning pitcher Brycen Kelly said, "It was awesome. It was just... oh my god... so cool. I just got a rush of feel in me. I was like yes!"

    KA Manager Jeff Plew added, "They came together at the right time, and they understand their roles now. Those kids go through so much pressure and they really don't even realize it they're just having fun playing ball."
