Water park seeing a lot of activity

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- With all the sunshine, one of the best places to be may be a water park. Members of the Tri-Cities Court Club can now enjoy some fun in the sun.

The park opened Saturday, it's the only one of it's kind in the Tri-Cities, and it's a big hit!

"It's been great, we had a great response. We had on Saturday, probably had a steady 300 to 400 people coming through here during the day. It was great, and Sunday, was a wonderful day as well," explains Stephen Wallenfels of the Tri-City Court Club.

Parents also liked the park, "I think it's a great idea. I think it was a good idea for the club to put it in and it's great for the kids," explained Jim St. Hilaire.

This water park is not open to the public, you have to be a member of the club to enjoy it. The park costs around  $2 million dollars and club leaders say it's the size of two tennis courts.
