Man pleads innocent to second DUI arrest since February

KENNEIWCK,WA- A Benton County judge has raised a man's bail by more than a half-million dollars following his second DUI arrest this year.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Chad Sehnert last week for crashing into a couple riding a motorcycle outside Prosser. Deputies say they believe Sehnert was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Sehnert was out on $7,500 bail, awaiting trial for a DUI arrest in February.

The victims in the crash remain in the hospital Doctors have amputated both legs of Joe Toregrase, 46. Surgeons also amputated a leg of his passenger, Janice Rennebohm,62.

Superior Court Judge Carrie Runge raised bail on Sehnert's first DUI charge to $200,000 and set bail on the assault charges at $500,000.  

Sehnert has pleaded innocent.
