Neighbors organize parade instead of Water Follies
PASCO, Wash.-- Neighbors organize parade instead of Water Follies.
Organizers plan to continue the Kid and Pet Parade every year so families have another option during the Water Follies weekend.
Parade coordinator, Julie Roach says "when I was a kid we did pet parades. We didn't have a pet but we just loved coming and seeing the costumes and just coming up with ways to decorate our bikes and stuff. We just thought this would be a good even for kids in the neighborhood."
About one-hundred people showed up Saturday for the walk. Everyone was dressed up, biking, singing, riding and even the dogs were in the spirit.
