YAKIMA, Wash.-- One of the biggest National Night Out events in the county was a huge success Tuesday.
Yakima's Night Out was held at Yakima Regional Hospital and event organizers said they were expecting upwards of 3,000 to attend.
There was food, and booths for people to get information about community safety and awareness. The kids even had their fare share of entertainment.
The Night Out events were held all over Washington and gives law enforcement the opportunity to interact with the community on a less formal level.
The organizers for the Yakima's event say they expect it to continue to grow and are hoping for even more people to come out next year.
