PASCO, Wash.—Police are looking for a suspect believed to be involved in a Pasco neighborhood stabbing.
Pasco Police say around 10pm Tuesday a fight broke out on the 1200 block of Hassalo Street. Police found two men, ages 27 and 19, with stab wounds.
The victims say they were sitting in their yard when three men came up to them and started stabbing them with a knife. One of the three suspects ran away, but police were able to grab two of them 18-year-old Liberato Sanchez and a 16-year-old.
One mother tells KNDU she's surprised this happened right across from where her children go to school.
"Kind of scared but this never happens, so this is the first time, so I think it's nice in here," says Alnda Gutierrez, mother and neighbor.
Pasco Police are still looking for 24-year-old Michael Angel Esparza- Aquirre. He is believed to be responsible for the actually stabbing. Police describe him as 5'6" with brown eyes and a shaved head.
Police say the three suspects probably have ties to local gangs.
