Kennewick, Wash.- Lots of stuff goes on at the Toyota Arena. The Tri-City Americans practice there, comedians tell jokes there, and Pee Wee hockey players have try outs there.
And now the arena will have twenty to thirty bands playing there a year.
Leaders with the Toyota Arena say they've made an agreement with the Knitting Factory to bring in some big names on a more regular basis.
"Well great example. Last year Spokane had about 40 bands go through their building that came up through and went somewhere else. Now we're going to have an opportunity to do those shows here," says Executive Director of the Three Rivers Campus Cory Pearsons.
The first band scheduled is Chavelle Monday August 29th.
