Pasco, WA--- Tri-Cities native and former major league pitcher with Detroit, Jeremy Bonderman threw out the first pitch at the third annual Fraternal Order of Police charity baseball game. A contest between the Fire Department and Police, which raised 300 dollars and took in 1,000 pounds of food donations for the Tri-Cities food bank. The game also raising $1,700 for the FOP for various charities to include Special Olympics.
Bonderman had a chance to mingle with fans, take pictures and sign autographs. We caught up with him about some of his fondest memories he had when he played at Pasco.
"You know a lot of great friends. I played with my older brother for a year. I got to play with some of my best friends still today," said Bonderman. "You know that's my fondest memories going out and playing summer ball and traveling around... You know having fun and being a kid... And no worries."
