Hiker injured after falling 100ft

MT. ADAMS, Wash.-- A climber was injured when he fell about 100 feet while descending on the south side of Mt. Adams at around 6:30 last night.
Yakima Sheriff's say a 50-year-old Eatonville man suffered multiple broken bones and a possible head injury. He was air lifted to a hospital in Vancouver.

20 volunteers from multiple search and rescue units participated in the rescue operation.
