No sexual assault charges for West Richland widower

KENNEWICK, Wash--      There is no evidence to charge a West Richland man with sexual assault of a minor according to the Benton County Prosecutor, Andy Miller.

The family of 27 year old Thomas St  George's 16-year-old babysitter filed a restraining order months ago, accusing St. George of having a sexual relationship with their daughter.

West Richland Police have been investigating him for sexual assault for several months and have turned over their findings to Miller two weeks ago.

Miller says there is no admissible evidence to prove the relationship happened, and they don't file charges based on "hear say."

Thomas's  wife Sandy died in a  West Richland house fire back in March.     Police have yet to determine what started the fire or how she died.
