West Richland Police speaking out against gang activity

Posted: Updated:

WEST RICHLAND, Wash.—When you hear about gang violence West Richland isn't the first place that come sot mind.  Now West Richland Police are having a town hall meeting to get out in front of the issue.

It's a preventative discussion Thursday, August 25th at 6:30pm at Enterprise Middle School.  Police are asking for the community's involvement.  They say people need to know what to do look for when it comes to gang activity.

Many neighbors say they feel safe and don't see a lot of violence.  West Richland police say the low numbers are because it's mostly a residential area, but they do see car prowls and burglaries.
