YAKIMA, Wash.-- A 6 year-old girl was hit by a bullet in a shooting late Thursday night in Yakima.

It happened at 11 o'clock. Someone spraying bullets into the back of the home on the 200 block of N. 9th St.
One of those bullets grazed a little girl's neck. Medics treated the 6 year-old on scene. She didn't need to be taken to the hospital.

Several other people were in the home at the time of the shooting, however no one else was injured.

There was a another shooting last night involving a 21 year-old but YPD says they don't know if the two are connected.

"We don't have enough information yet to make that determination. It's too early in the investigation to see if there was any relation between the two," said Cpt. Rod Light.

At this time YPD is still investigating the shooting, but they say they don't have a motive for the crime or know if it was gang related.
