Bikers Against Child Abuse keep an eye on sponsored foster kids
KENNEWICK, Wash.--Bikers Against Child Abuse keep an eye on sponsored foster kids. Today the bikers made rounds around town to raise awareness and promote their group.
Many would say some bikers look pretty tough but we met up with a group that also has a soft side. They are raising money for some of the kids they sponsor.
The money will go to therapy and support for the kids. B.A.C.A. members will take the children out for birthdays, holidays and even provide support to kids that need to testify in the court room. They make sure their kids they watch are safe.
B.A.C.A Vice President Torch says "maybe there is someone who keeps harassing the family who the child does not feel safe around. We as BACA members will go to that home wherever they live and we will camp out. 24 hours a day seven days a week for as long as it takes for that threat to go away."
The children are even given vests like the ones their sponsor wears so they can feel like part of the team.
