Pendleton police looking for "armed & dangerous" bank robbery suspect
PENDLETON -- Pendleton Police are searching for a bank robbery suspect described as "armed and dangerous".
33 year old David Lee Alberts is suspected for robbing the Community Bank on Southgate in Pendleton last month. Police say he showed a knife during the robbery.
Alberts is a registered sex offender and convicted felon. He was last seen in the La Grande, OR area on Friday. He's about 5'10" tall, 180 pounds with brownish/red hair and hazel eyes. Alberts has tattoos on his hands and arms.
He was last known driving a grey, 2003 Ford F150 with Oregon license plate 841ERP. The truck is slightly lifted with a University of Oregon "O" sticker in the rear window. If you see him, call police.
