KLICKITAT COUNTY, Wa.- We sent reporter Aaron Hilf up in an airplane to get some aerial video of the wildfire burning near Satus Pass. We have attached pictures for you.

About 300 people have been evacuated. So far the fire has burned more than 5,000 acres. More than 400 firefighters are fighting the fire. Nine homes and 10 outbuildings have burned. Fire officials believe the fire started along U.S. Highway 97 north of Goldendale.

Also, The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today authorized the use of federal funds to help Washington State fight this wildfire.

The authorization makes FEMA funding available to pay 75 percent of the state's eligible firefighting costs under an approved grant for managing, mitigating and controlling designated fires.
