KENNEWICK, Wash.—A new piece of artwork may get your juices going in downtown Kennewick. Friday, a sculpture called "Fruits of our Labor" was unveiled at the corner of Auburn Street and Kennewick Avenue in Kennewick.
The unveiling ceremony kicked-off the centennial anniversary of ‘Grapefest.' The piece of art was created by Michael and Joseph Rastovich.
"The piece represents our agriculture history, because Kennewick had the largest concentration of concord grape vineyards in the world and that's why we have the Grapefest every year," says Joseph Rastovich.
‘Grapefest' starts Saturday from 8am until 5pm in downtown Kennewick. Arts and crafts, food vendors and entertainment will be provided.
