Donations needed for Monastery Complex Fire victims

GOLDENDALE, Wash.--Donations needed for Monastery Complex Fire victims. Several organizations are working with the Red Cross to help those who have been affected by the Monastery Complex Fire.

We were told that more than 150 community volunteers from Goldendale have been helping victims of the fire. We spoke with people from the American Red Cross who say the response to help has been huge.

Emergency Services Director Kelly Anderson says "people came to us immediately and said what can we do? This community has constantly come in our door and said what can we do, they call our phones and say what do you need? We can't thank them enough."

Father's House is coordinating clothing for people who have been evacuated, they can be reached at 509-773-4719.

The Goldendale Food Bank is handling food, they are in need of water bottles, Gatorade and snacks.

Animal help is being dealt with by the Prosecuting Attorney Office, 509-261-1996.
