Central Washington is still trying to find its place as a team
ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Central Washington football is regrouping after losing their first two games. The Wildcats came into the season with the fewest returning starters in the GNAC and are still adjusting. The have moved Stan Langlow to linebacker making room for Division I transfers Deointe Gordon and Matt Mosley.
Veterans say it takes a while to get a sense of new teammates on the field. "There's a lot of new guys on the field, a lot of new people you have to communicate with. It changes the type of defense or on-field chemistry big time," said Junior defensive lineman Tyrell Nielsen. "You can definitely tell, new starters getting comfortable. I mean, our biggest emphasis in the pre-season was to come together as one whole group and play as one and not be individuals," added Langlow.
