TOPPENISH, Wash.-- Toppenish Community Hospital is celebrating 60 years in the Lower Valley.
They held a health fair and celebration in their hospital's parking lot Saturday, complete with food vendors, music, and even Zumba.
Folks attending even had a chance to check out 30 different booths with information on healthy living.
Organizers were happy to be celebrating this day with the community.
"It's important because as a hospital in this community we want to make sure that our patrons stay healthy and so we want to give them all the information they have to make their lives better and to keep them healthy in our community," said Terra Palomarez, an event organizer.
People braved the rain in Toppenish Saturday to take part in the celebration.
Sen. Jim Honeyford and Rep. Bruce Chandler were also at the event.
