YAKIMA, Wash.-- Dogs and their owners came out to raise money for a good cause Saturday.
The 3rd annual Paws for Life was held in Randall Park in Yakima to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It acts just like a Relay for Life, but with this event, people are encouraged to bring their dogs and walk.
There were booths from many different organizations, and even a demonstration by Wesley, the arson dog.
"I'm here to support cancer, and cancer research. I have a couple friends that are going through it and have recovered and stuff like that," said Yoshi Garcia.
The event was a big success, and many people were happy to be able to bring their dogs out to an event where they are more than welcomed.
