BENTON CITY, Wash.--Last day for kids Summer Dirt Track Challenge. Saturday kicked off the last day for the 2011 Summer Dirt Track Challenge in West Richland. It's a competition with professionals and beginners.

This is the second annual race series sponsored by QuadPros. The last event was held out in Benton City. The race was on a flat track. We had kids here of all ages ranging from 4 to 16 years old. There were races for quads and motorcycles.

We spoke with the people who organized it who say track racing is a popular activity that's growing in this area.

Scott Mora of QuadPros Motorsports says "we organized this because we've done it in the past and know what a great sport it is for families to come together and do something that's actually affordable."

Races this year started in April and continued throughout the summer. QuadPros has racing for people of all ages all around the area.
