KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans continue to develop offensive stars. A few of the young forwards on the roster are starting to look like their veteran teammates. The Americans return some top goal scorers and their skills are rubbing onto players such as Marcus Messier, who has already matched his two-goal scoring output from last year in just four pre-season games. "It's been good, you know, when you get to play with some of the veterans like that. They find you, and you just got to keep moving with them. It's been fun. It always feels good to score," Messier said.
