PASCO, WA- A man accused of murder won't go on trial until next year.
Franklin County Superior Court Judge Robert Swisher Tuesday scheduled jury selection to begin in mid January for the trial of Gregorio Luna Luna. Pasco police arrested Luna Luna in May 2010 for the stabbing death of his girlfriend. Prosecutors say the two had been arguing over their young son.
The case has been on hold for much of the summer while state psychiatrists examined Luna Luna. Last month the doctors determined Luna Luna competent to stand trial.
