RICHLAND, Wash.-- Lacrosse teams holds open clinic for beginners. A lacrosse team made up of several Tri-Cities high schools held an open clinic for future lacrosse players Saturday afternoon.
The Three Rivers Lacrosse Coyotes team is made up of 60 junior-varsity and varsity players from high school students in Benton and Franklin County.
The clinic raised money for a tournament they won last year in Las Vegas. They are hoping to regain their title this year.
Event coordinator Evan Smith says "we went last year. It was a tournament opportunity and we just said let's do it and we ended up winning the whole thing. So we want to go back and defend our title."
The tournament is called the Las Vegas Showcase. The team will be competing in November.
