Two cyclists biking across the world; raising money for charity

YAKIMA, Wash.-- After a cross country trip, a pair of bicyclists will travel around the world. The husband and wife team of John and Kate Suscovich are staying in Yakima.

They're planning to ride 24,000 miles to raise 24,000 dollars.  They'll donate it to Farm Aid, a non-profit organization that helps keep farmers on their land. They say they chose Farm Aid because it could help to combat illnesses in our country.

"Heart disease, obesity, and they're all epidemics in our country and when we looked at the root of it they were all food related illnesses," says John Suscovich.

The Suscoviches say they're going to California, before traveling to Australia, Asia, and finally Europe. If you want to donate or learn more about their trip, you can visit their site here.
