KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick police are looking for a man accused of approaching two young girls and telling them to get in his car. Police and the Kennewick School District say it happened around 7:50 am Thursday.

They say two Hawthorne Elementary Students were walking near the intersection of Hood Ave. and Morain St., when a man allegedly drove up to them and told them to get in his car. The girls ran to a nearby apartment. The suspect drove away.

He is described as a white man, in his 40's or 50's. The girls say he was driving a red truck with a white canopy. There may have been a ladder on top and writing on the side. He has a goatee and mustache and was wearing a long sleeve red shirt with stripes. If you have any information, call police.
