RICHLAND, Wash.—After eight years, construction for the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center is finally beginning. Wednesday officials held a ceremony and broke ground.
The center will be 61-thousand square feet. Exhibits will be displayed such as the Manhattan Project, the B-Reaction, and the Cold War.
The center will be at Columbia Park West 1776 Columbia Park Trial, Richland. Construction is expected to be complete in fall 2013.
