PASCO, Wash., -- More than 225 Tri-Cities high school students gathered in Pasco today to try to promote social change.
"Change the World" was arranged by the Southridge High School DECA club.
The group is made up of students interested in careers in business and marketing. Sessions emphasized how to succeed in today's business world especially through the use of social media.
"I think it's great the high schools are coming together," says Southridge High School DECA Activities Director Ryan Snell. "It brings unity throughout the Tri-Cities so students can learn that we can all work together. That we're all youth, we're all here to learn the same thing and share a common goal. So it's good that the high schools can come together, work together and learn together."
The conference is an annual event currently in it's third year.
